Sydney joined the firm in 2019 and has quickly established herself as a key member of the Audit Department. With a B.S. in Business Administration (Accountancy) from California State University, Sacramento, Sydney is a CPA licensed in California. Her journey into accounting began with a passion for problem-solving and a drive to continuously learn and grow in her field. Over the years, she has developed expertise in audits, reviews, financial statement preparation, and compliance audits, including single audits. Sydney specializes in working with for-profit entities, non-profit organizations, and affordable housing entities.
Sydney is known for her perseverance and adaptability. She is often described as a versatile and helpful colleague who enjoys the challenge of solving puzzles through her work, ensuring that each day is different. Her personal service philosophy revolves around the idea that continuous learning is key, and it’s perfectly fine not to have all the answers right away.
Unplugged:
Sydney was born in Lodi, California, and currently resides in Acampo, CA, with her husband, Scott, and their two dogs, Gus, a Labrador, and Luna, a Cocker Spaniel Mix. She enjoys spending time at her country home particularly watching the sunsets from her front porch. Her hobbies include gardening and spending quality time with her pets. In her downtime, Sydney enjoys reading the “Harry Potter” series, watching the movies, listening to Billy Joel on Pandora, and cheering for the San Francisco Giants Baseball team. Her favorite travel destination is Carmel-by-the-Sea.
