Kari L. Ianni

Kari joined Bowman & Company in 2020, bringing with her nearly 40 years of public accounting experience following a long career with a national accounting firm. She specializes in tax compliance and accounting services for high-net-worth individuals, small to mid-sized businesses, and affiliated family groups across a variety of industries.

Kari enjoys working closely with clients to identify opportunities to minimize tax liabilities while bringing order and clarity to even the most complex records. A self-described perfectionist, she is known for her attention to detail while never losing sight of the bigger picture. She brings that same approach to mentoring and developing younger professionals, encouraging them to understand both the details behind the work and the broader impact on the client.

Her experience extends well beyond tax. Having shared in the ownership of a waste management company for 30 years, Kari brings firsthand business experience in bookkeeping, financial accounting, financial statement reporting and analysis, payroll, human resources, and other areas of business management. This perspective allows her to better understand the day-to-day challenges business owners face and provide practical, well-rounded guidance.

Kari earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Diego State University. Her interest in accounting began with her first high school accounting class and ultimately led her to follow in her father’s footsteps and build a career centered around debits, credits, and helping clients make sense of their financial lives.

She is especially grateful to those who helped bring her to Bowman & Company and for the relationships she has built since joining the firm. Now, as a newly promoted Principal, she looks forward to continuing to serve clients with the same care, dedication, and attention to detail that have defined her career in public accounting.

Unplugged:

Kari and her husband, David, are lifelong Lodi-area residents and have two grown daughters. She enjoys spending time with family, whether gathered at home or traveling together throughout the U.S. and abroad when time allows. In her downtime, Kari can often be found unwinding with a good drama series or catching up on HGTV.
