Nathalie Merhaut

Nathalie joined Bowman as a Manager in the Tax Department with over 10 years of experience in the public accounting industry. She has had the opportunity to serve clients in a wide variety of service industries including real estate, private equity, agriculture, low-income housing, manufacturing, retail, health, and professional service corporations.  In her role, among overseeing the work of team members, she specializes in the taxation of high to ultra-high net-worth individuals. This includes analyzing and advising on their multi-state and foreign filing needs and requirements, partnerships, and corporations, while calculating complex special allocations. Nathalie’s experience has also made performing precise research on opaque tax positions second nature.

Nathalie graduated in 2011 from University of San Diego where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. She joined Bowman & Company, LLP in 2023 and became a CPA in 2022. Nathalie currently works remotely from her home in Pasadena, a suburb of Los Angeles, CA.

Unplugged: When not working, as a dedicated fitness enthusiast, Nathalie spends her time outdoors consistently running with her two community non-profit run clubs. Nathalie is an active leader and ambassador, whose duties regularly include signing up, networking, engaging, and pacing with new runners, helping facilitate weekly running events, and cheering/providing aid and water to fellow runners at races.  Wanting to lead by example, she also trains for her own fair share of races and high intensity competitions. Nathalie has already completed a half-marathon and Spartan.  Other pastimes she enjoys include traveling, trying out new restaurants, especially sushi houses, reading all types of thrillers, and watching any comedy with Adam Sandler.
