Gary serves a variety of closely held businesses, concentrated in:

• Agriculture (including wineries)
• Trucking industry
• Construction and real estate development
• Manufacturing

The most rewarding aspects of his work are helping clients prosper with proper planning and managing tax results. He holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a master’s degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a Certified Financial Planning degree.

Private company experience: In addition to public accounting, Gary has been a controller for a publishing firm and a manufacturer. This experience in private industry has allowed Gary to identify with his clients’ internal operations and apply this knowledge in the rendering of management advisory, tax and financial planning services.

Unplugged: Gary and his wife Michelle live in a house surrounded by their vineyard – which is a perfect blend for their involvement with the Lodi Amateur Vintners Association. Also nestled in those vineyards are three vacation rental houses in Lodi named “The Cottages on Armstrong”. They have five grown children. In his spare time, Gary enjoys getting out for a challenging game of golf.
