Our Team

Edward became Bowman’s Chief Human Resources Office in late 2021. He oversees the firm’s internal HR efforts, including compliance, employee relations, and talent management, as well as external HR services provided to Bowman clients. In addition to holding a bachelor’s from UC San Diego, Edward attended law school at the McGeorge School of Law and earned his MBA from National University.   

Edward is passionate about working with people and creating an environment where everyone can succeed. In fact, he often spends leisure time reading legal updates so that he can be at his best for his team. An active listener, Edward works to prevent miscommunications, something he says is the cause of unintended consequences. He is skilled at utilizing organizational strategy to identify the needs of an entity and pairing them with the right tools and resources to drive intended results. 

Unplugged: 

Edward lives in San Diego, California, with his partner of 20 years. He enjoys spending time outside biking or jogging, and visiting local coffee shops, wineries, and breweries with friends. You might even find him officiating an occasional wedding! Edward also loves traveling the globe. His favorite destination is Greece, where he loves just about everything “the food, the beautiful ocean, the vibe, the lifestyle.”
