Congratulations to Emily Terry on Her Promotion to Manager

We are excited to celebrate Emily Terry, CPA, on her promotion from Senior Supervisor to Manager at Bowman.

Emily has built her career around a philosophy that says a great deal about the way she approaches both her work and the people around her: “Always leave it better than you found it.”

Whether that means improving an audit file, finding a better way to approach a process, or helping a colleague develop their skills, Emily is always looking for opportunities to make a positive difference. That mindset has helped shape her growth at Bowman and will continue to serve her well as she steps into the Manager role.

Emily specializes in governmental and not-for-profit audits, with particular expertise in Single Audits, compliance, and helping clients work through complex accounting and reporting requirements. As a Manager, she is looking forward to taking on additional leadership opportunities, helping develop her team, and continuing to strengthen the relationships she has built with clients.

She also encourages those around her to keep asking questions, recognizing that every challenge can become an opportunity to learn something new. That curiosity, paired with her commitment to continual improvement, reflects the kind of leader Emily has become.

Outside of Bowman, Emily enjoys spending time with family, traveling and planning road trips, cooking, and taking on organization and home improvement projects.

We are proud of everything Emily has accomplished and even more excited about what lies ahead.
