Michael Lipman, CPA

Michael is a Manager in Bowman’s Audit Department, where he oversees audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held companies. He joined the firm in 2025 and brings experience serving businesses across a range of industries, including construction, transportation and logistics, agriculture, and affordable housing.

Before joining Bowman, Michael began his career in corporate accounting and later transitioned into public accounting with regional CPA firms in Southern California. During that time, he worked with clients in manufacturing, distribution, construction, e– commerce, and financial services. This broad background has given him a well–rounded understanding of the financial and operational challenges businesses face and allows him to bring a practical perspective to each engagement.

Michael specializes in audits, reviews, and compilations for nonpublic companies. He works closely with clients throughout the engagement process, helping them navigate financial reporting requirements, address questions as they arise, and keep projects
moving efficiently. His experience across both corporate and public accounting helps him understand the audit process from multiple perspectives and communicate clearly with the organizations he serves.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach.

Unplugged:
Michael grew up in Long Beach, California, where he met his wife. In 2022, they relocated to Lodi, where they are now raising their two kids and enjoying life as a family. Outside of work, Michael values spending quality time with his family, whether they are traveling together, exploring new places, attending live music, or simply appreciating time spent at home. He also enjoys playing golf and watching sports.
