Welcoming Our Newest Team Members to Bowman & Company

Over the past several months, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many new team members to Bowman & Company. Each joins Bowman with meaningful experience and a shared commitment to teamwork, exceptional client service, the success of our firm, and their own professional development. We are grateful for the talent they bring to the team and excited to introduce them to you.

Tia Sangalang, CPA

Tia joined Bowman in January as a Senior Accountant, bringing five years of experience in public accounting. Her background includes working on external audits for nonpublic entities, leading engagements, and helping clients navigate risk assessment and audit planning with care and precision.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of the East in Caloocan, Philippines, and is a licensed CPA in the state of California. Before joining Bowman, Tia worked as a Staff Accountant for a firm in San Francisco.

Tia approaches her work thoughtfully and with a strong sense of responsibility to both clients and teammates. We are very happy to have her as part of the Bowman team and look forward to the contributions she will continue to make.

Andrea Rodriguez

Andrea joined Bowman as a Staff Accountant on our CAS team and brings more than ten years of accounting experience with her. Most recently, she worked at a firm in in Elk Grove, where she supported clients across a wide range of accounting needs.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Humphreys University. Andrea has a strong foundation in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Andrea’s experience and steady approach make her a great addition to the CAS team, and we are thrilled to welcome her to Bowman.

Jeremy Smith

Jeremy joined Bowman in December as Office Support Staff and plays an important role in keeping the office running smoothly. He supports our partners and administrative team while helping with day-to-day logistics, supplies, mail, and records.

Before joining Bowman, Jeremy worked as a warehouse associate for a logistics company, supporting operations and recordkeeping. He brings a practical approach to his work and is always ready to jump in where help is needed.

We are happy to welcome Jeremy to the team and value the support he provides to both our people and our office.

Gabriela Arevalo

Gabriela joined our CAS team with over five years of accounting experience. Before coming to Bowman, she worked as a bookkeeper for an organization in Walnut Grove, where she handled day-to-day accounting and supported the organization’s financial operations.

She earned her Associate in Applied Science degree from Heald College in Stockton and brings hands on experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online, payroll, account reconciliations, and general bookkeeping.

Gabriela brings both skill and a positive presence to the team, and we are pleased to welcome her to Bowman.

Jashandeep (Jashan) Kaur

Jashan joined the Bowman team with over five years of experience in accounting, most recently serving as a Senior Accountant and Bookkeeper at a firm in Dublin, California.

She earned her Bachelor of Commerce from Guru Nanak Dev University in India and completed the Accounting Associates Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Jashan is currently working toward her CPA license and currently holds an active CTEC license. She is experienced in QuickBooks Desktop and Online and other accounting software.

Jashan brings dedication and a thoughtful approach to her work, and we are excited to support her continued growth at Bowman.

Michelle (Shelly) Fortuny

Shelly joined Bowman in December as an Administrative Assistant, working closely with Partners Jeanne Russick and Daryl Petrick, while also supporting our administrative team.

She brings over eleven years of administrative experience to the team. Shelly is known for her strong client support skills, attention to detail, and calm presence. She is also a certified Notary.

We are grateful to have Shelly on the team and appreciate the care she brings to support our clients and colleagues every day.
